Bonus Bucks
Retail promotions can be challenging. They must catch the fancy of consumers, they must be fairly easy to administer and implement because of the large numbers of participants, and they must be clearly understood at all levels of distribution.
Our "Bonus Bucks" promotion provided consumers with significant value for consumers, proportional to their purchase of branded products and services at participating repair shops, it generated additional sales for those shops since the Bonus Bucks were only redeemable on subsequent visits, and it pulled purchases of branded products through participating auto parts stores.
For the consumer, the repair shop, the auto parts store, and our client, it was a "win, win, win, win."
P.S. We made a buck on the job, too. Isn't that the way it's supposed to work?
