Your source for lift truck training

The Challenge:

New standards requiring all fork lift operators to successfully complete OSHA-compliant training programs made this a burning issue in the material handling industry. Our client, a regional distributor of lift trucks, felt strongly that being a recognized source of operator training would contribute to increased sales of fork lifts. Our mission was to position our client, on a regional basis, as an innovative leader in all matters relating to material handling.

The Solution:

We created a one-page, both sides sell sheet promoting our client's OSHA-compliant operator and "Train the Trainer" programs, and we negotiated very attractive rates for having this sell sheet bound into those issues of the leading trade journal going to recipients in our client's trading area.

The Result:

Over a three-year period our client trained more operators and trainers than any competitor in his trading area, and experienced sales growth at a time when the overall market for lift trucks was shrinking.
