Pro-Cut Press Kit
In order to encourage journalists to write favorably about our clients, it's essential that we take our message to the media in an informative and user-friendly manner. Since three members of the Target team are former trade press editors, that's no problem at all.
When Pro-Cut International introduced their newest computerized on-the-car disc brake lathe, we created a comprehensive press kit that included everything an editor needed to know about this company and its products, including its newest offering. Our press kit included news releases, photographs, collateral literature, and a CD-ROM with streaming video demonstrating their newest model. We also included all of the news releases and photos in digital format on a separate CD-ROM to make it as easy as possible for editors to use and publish our materials.
On top of all of that, we conducted an editorial tour in which we visited with all of the key editors, right in their own offices, in order to carry our message directly to them without asking them to travel to us.
The result? Terrific editorial coverage, plus excellent on-going dialogue with these journalists who are now totally familiar with Pro-Cut and their products.
