SAE SELECTS TARGET COMMUNICATIONS FOR PUBLIC RELATIONS
Plymouth Meeting, PA, Sept. 15, 2004 - The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), headquartered in Warrendale, PA, has chosen Target Communications Inc. of Plymouth Meeting, PA to develop and implement a strategic public relations program to celebrate its 100th anniversary year in 2005, and to promote the SAE World Congress Exposition on an ongoing basis. The announcement was made by Robert H. Chalker, Director of Sales and Marketing for SAE International, the world’s largest organization for automotive design engineers.
In addition to providing strategic PR counsel and creating a comprehensive public relations program for the Centennial and the SAE World Congress, Target Communications will also implement an aggressive media relations campaign to publicize the SAE message to its key audiences.
According to Chalker, “The team at Target Communications is especially well-suited to help us meet our specific public relations needs. Their familiarity with the automotive industry gives them a unique advantage in leveraging our anniversary celebrations and SAE World Congress through a multi-faceted approach to highlight our profile within the industry. Together, we hope to enhance SAE’s rich history of life-long engineering education and standards in the mobility industry.”
Target founder and President Dick Moritz said, “We’re extremely excited about providing our expertise to SAE. Our extensive background in the automobile industry provides us the ideal platform for offering PR counsel that will help generate awareness of SAE’s 100-year contribution to mobility engineering. SAE is recognized as the most prestigious organization of its kind and we are honored that they have chosen us to partner with them.”
Founded in 1986, Target Communications Inc. is a full-service advertising and public relations agency headquartered in Plymouth Meeting, PA, a Philadelphia suburb, with a satellite office outside of Washington, D.C.
