TARGET PRESIDENT MARKS 25 YEARS WITH SAE

Plymouth Meeting, PA - Richard T. Moritz, President of Target Communications Inc., has marked 25 years of membership in the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). The occasion was recognized by a letter of commendation and a commemorative certificate.

Moritz originally joined SAE while Technical Editor for a major automotive trade magazine, and has maintained his membership continuously since then. "Membership in SAE is an important part of Target's extensive work in the aftermarket," says Moritz.  "While SAE is focused on OE engineers, the work of this Association has a direct bearing on aftermarket parts and service technology. It's important for us to be able to speak on common terms with our aftermarket clients' engineers and marketing people. This way we can effectively communicate their messages to WDs, jobbers, service dealers, retailers, machine shops, and others in the supply chain," adds Moritz.

In addition to membership in SAE, Moritz is also a Charter Member of the Service Technician's Society (STS), and belongs to the International Motor Press Association (IMPA) and the Automotive Public Relations Council (APRC). Moritz was a nominee for the ASIA Young Executive of the Year Award, and has passed the exhaustive written and oral accreditation tests administered by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).

Founded in 1986, Target Communications is a full-service advertising and public relations agency specializing in the automotive aftermarket. Target is headquartered just outside of Philadelphia, with a satellite office in the Washington, D.C. area.
